This is my favorite object I had taken pictures of. This object means a lot to me because it came from my uncles funeral. I didn't get to make the funeral because I had lived in Florida at the time he died (June 15, 2015). My mom saved it for me for when I moved here and I will always cherish it. It was challenging trying to find good angles for this object that didn't have a lot going on in the background. I used the sky as a background for one of the photos and by doing that I just held the very end of the rose stem so you couldn't see my fingers and held it up in the air. I also just layed it down on my front porch for one of the pictures.
This wasn't my sand dollar it was just in my house so it doesn't mean anything to me. This object although was very challenging to photograph. I couldn't find many good angles of it without getting much in the background. When I held it in the air I also tried to not get my finger in the photo. It was also challenging to get good angles without getting my shadow in the way, blocking the light.
This object is important to me because my mom gave it to me as a birthday present this year when I first moved here. This object was very challenging to photograph. I couldn't think of ways/find ways to set the necklace up or where to put it. I tried to lay it on the table but it had too much going on in the background. In the first photo I just held it and layed it on my wrist. For the second I hung it on my shutter and tried to get a good angle of it.
This object is also very very important to me because its the only actual picture I have of my uncle before he passed. I was in Florida and they mailed me this card from the funeral home. On the back of the card it has quotes of the things he would always say and the memories of all the things he used to do. I keep this object very close to me and i never want to lose it. This was challenging to photograph because I couldn't find a good background it besides my flower bushes/plants.
I made this object in one of my art classes in I think 3rd grade. My mom has kept it ever since then. This object is supposed to be a robin egg bird nest (might be hard to tell). This wasn't too challenging to photograph. For the first image I set it in a bush and I brightened the photo because it was dark from the shadows of the trees. For the second image I just set it in the tree beside my house so it looked like it was a nest kind of in a tree. i also had to brighten the second image because the branches were causing shadows which darkened the image.
